Summer Wind is a charming home overlooking the beautiful Alligator Harbor Aquatic Preserve which lends to some of the best sunsets the Point has to offer. The whole family will enjoy this comfortable and wonderful cottage. Summer Wind includes 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath in the main living area. The sun porch has an additional double trundle bed for an extra sleeping area. This home is ideal for couples, small families, or "snow birds" looking for a quiet getaway. Downstairs guests will enjoy the breezes off of the bay on a large screened porch with plently of seating for the whole group and a relaxing hammock. You'll enjoy beautiful sunsets setting over the end of Alligator Point and watch dolphins right from the front porch. This coastal home is located approximately 1/2 mile to the beach and just minutes from the abundant nature at Bald Point State Park. The Park offers an unrivaled experience with Florida’s natural habitat. The location is perfect for bird watching and other wildlife observation. The pine forest and underbrush of this area offer a sanctuary for animals such as the black bear, white-tailed deer, coyote and a host of smaller animals. Guests can hike or ride bikes on the abundant neighboring trails through the state park or drive the short distance to the beach to enjoy swimming, fishing, kayaking or just relaxing. Summer Wind offers the serenity of nature with its marshy views and surroundings, the beauty of the beach, sunsets and the excitement of close by restaurants and shopping. Weekly rentals are Saturday through Saturday. Refundable deposit of $250 required to make reservation.
Reservation fee of $50 will apply.
Cancellation Policy for Weekend and Weekly Reservations: If cancelled more than 60 days prior to arrival, deposit is fully refunded; if cancelled between 30 and 60 days prior to arrival, there is a $125 cancellation fee. There are no refunds if reservation is cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation Policy & Rent Prepayment for Stays Longer than 14 Days: Stays longer than 14 days require prepayment of 1/2 of all funds due in advance (rent, taxes & fees) plus the security deposit. If reservation is cancelled at least 90 days prior to arrival, the deposit and prepaid rent will be refunded. There are no refunds if reservation is cancelled less than 90 days prior to arrival. Sales tax of 9% for all rentals less than 6 months' duration.
Weekend rentals are any 2 nights during the week (not restricted to Friday, Saturday or Sunday), and are subject to availability at participating properties. Third night is discounted for weekend stays. During Peak Season, weekend rentals are accepted no sooner than 15 days prior to arrival.
All rates and fees are subject to change. Holiday rates for Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years' Eve may be higher than published rates and a minimum stay may be required.
