Great attention, planning and care was poured into the “all decked out” part of this house, and it shows in the fine details of the deck including the foot washes, built-in benches, elevated dune walkover, and sand removal stations for both people and pets. A brand new, gently sloped ramp to the side door offers access to guests with limited mobility. Additional outside features include a fish-cleaning sink and an outside shower.
Don’t worry, plenty of care and attention was paid inside as well! A modern kitchen features all new appliances (in 2011) atop new floors and beneath new counters. Each of the cozy four bedrooms has its own comfortably sized queen bed. So that both the sunroom AND the master bedroom have a view of the beach, the master bedroom has an interior “window” in the shared wall (no glass, just an opening, so guests can appreciate the view without leaving the comfort of bed). This opening has a hinged hurricane-shutter-type blind for nighttime privacy. The owners have embraced the coastal life and you will definitely appreciate their flair for the salt air! You will ooh and ahh over every hand selected and hand-crafted decoration that gives this cottage its allure.
This property’s location is extremely private, as it is located on Gulf Shore Boulevard, just off of Alligator Drive, the main street of Alligator Point, and has minimal public access. You can claim this sanctuary all your own. This really is a “genuine coastal gem” and while it will be very hard to leave, the owners have priced it so well, it won’t hurt your budget to come back often!

Weekly rentals are Saturday through Saturday. Refundable deposit of $250 required to make reservation.
Reservation fee of $50 will apply. Cancellation Policy for Weekend and Weekly Reservations: If cancelled more than 60 days prior to arrival, deposit is fully refunded; if cancelled between 30 and 60 days prior to arrival, there is a $125 cancellation fee. There are no refunds if reservation is cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation Policy & Rent Prepayment for Stays Longer than 14 Days: Stays longer than 14 days require prepayment of 1/2 of all funds due in advance (rent, taxes & fees) plus the security deposit. If reservation is cancelled at least 90 days prior to arrival, the deposit and prepaid rent will be refunded.
There are no refunds if reservation is cancelled less than 90 days prior to arrival.
Sales tax of 9% for all rentals less than 6 months' duration.
Weekend rentals are any 2 nights during the week (not restricted to Friday, Saturday or Sunday), and are subject to availability at participating properties. Third night is discounted for weekend stays. During Peak Season, weekend rentals are accepted no sooner than 15 days prior to arrival. All rates and fees are subject to change. Holiday rates for Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years' Eve may be higher than published rates and a minimum stay may be required.
